Role
As the
Bookkeeper , you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing overall accounts management Preparing and delivering monthly management accounts with detailed analysis Submitting quarterly VAT returns Handling monthly invoicing processes, ensuring recurring invoices are accurately set up in Xero Managing outstanding payments and liaising with clients via Xero, phone, and email Managing daily bank account reconciliation Overseeing supplier payments, company credit cards, and expense processing across various offices using XeroMe Maintaining car and mileage schedules, ensuring compliance with depreciation, renewals, and government rates Processing VAT reclaims and managing logbooks Monitoring partner phone bills for VAT reclaims Managing general expenses and ensuring supplier payments are signed off by partners To Succeed as the
Bookkeeper , You Will Need:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, ideally within a professional services or consultancy environment A recognised bookkeeping qualification such as AAT Level 3 or above (or equivalent experience) Strong knowledge of Xero accounting software Excellent organisational and time management skills Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers In Return?
