Our client operates in the private whisky cask industry, specializing in the sale and management of single malt Scotch whisky casks for investment and bottling. Their state-of-the-art warehouse, located just outside Glasgow, accommodates over 3,000 barrels, providing optimal storage conditions to maintain and enhance whisky quality. A Bottling Manager is now required to join their team to oversee their bottling operations and drive excellence in production. Bottling Manager duties & responsibilities:

Responsibilities: Oversee the entire bottling process, managing everything from glass and label design to production and quality control. Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, providing tailored bottling solutions that meet their unique needs. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with independent bottlers, private clients, and corporate partners. Manage tax, duty, and export requirements to ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Lead nosing and tasting sessions, ensuring the highest standards of quality and flavor consistency across all bottlings. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and launch new whisky brands, from concept to market entry. Requirements: Extensive experience managing all aspects of whisky bottling, including glass, label, and design processes. Proven track record in developing and managing e-commerce platforms and on-trade sales channels. Experience working with a diverse client base, including independent bottlers, private clients, and corporate partners. Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. In-depth understanding of tax, duty, and export regulations related to whisky bottling and distribution. Expertise in nosing and tasting whisky to a very high standard, with the ability to ensure product quality and consistency.
