Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic BPEC-accredited tutor to deliver high-quality training courses focused on renewable energy technologies, including heat pumps, plumbing systems, and related sustainable solutions. The successful candidate will inspire learners and ensure they meet industry standards and qualifications. Key Responsibilities Deliver BPEC-accredited courses on renewable energy systems, including air-source and ground-source heat pumps, solar thermal systems, and associated plumbing. Provide hands-on training in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques for renewable energy systems. Prepare and deliver theoretical and practical lessons in accordance with BPEC curriculum guidelines. Assess learners’ progress and competency through practical evaluations, exams, and assignments. Provide constructive feedback and support to learners, fostering a positive learning environment. Maintain accurate records of learners’ attendance, progress, and assessments. Stay up to date with industry standards, advancements, and BPEC requirements to ensure course content remains relevant. Ensure all training activities comply with health and safety regulations. Qualifications and Experience BPEC accreditation in relevant courses (e.g., Heat Pump Systems, Solar Thermal Systems). Qualified plumber with extensive experience in renewable energy installations. Teaching or training qualification (e.g., Level 3 Award in Education and Training) or willingness to achieve this. Proven experience delivering technical training or mentoring in the plumbing and renewable energy sectors. Up-to-date knowledge of renewable energy technologies, regulations, and industry practices. Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Desirable Skills Experience with designing and customising training programs.
