5 days a week 07.30 to 16.30 Reporting directly to the Regional Manager Responsibilities include: To identify and develop new sales opportunities in the area liaising with Regional Manager that ensures the attainment of maximising company sales and profitability in accordance with company policy to ensure that your branch achieves or surpasses any targets and budgets set in accordance with the group policy. To increase sales whilst maintaining existing customer base & liaise with customers to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction but ensure customers are trading within their terms and conditions. To maintain as a minimum branch profitability/margin levels. To work with Regional Manager on marketing/promotion/strategies. To work within stock level guidelines. To ensure company procedures, policies and Health & Safety are adhered to by all staff, customers or suppliers on company premises. To promote all Group products within the designated business territory. To ensure banking and credit control systems are being administered correctly. Quoting and selling of the PVCu product range to customers. Serving and managing customer enquiries and problems. Reporting information on costs, sales, general market and customer feedback. Overseeing daily delivery and dispatch processes and ensuring correct routing. Ensuring that Invoices, Sales Orders, Credit notes, goods received and stock transfers are entered on to the system within a set time frame. Ensuring stock levels are sufficient and that the warehouse is kept in a fit state. Ensure Health and Safety procedures are met. Adherence to Company Procedures, ensure best practice at all times and that other staff comply. Responsible for performance and discipline of other branch staff and to be able to partake in other branch staff tasks when the need arises. To ensure company vehicles are kept in legal road condition, serviced in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and to ensure internal upkeep therein. To place orders of factory/suppliers within the authorities’ manual limitations and accounting guidelines in a prompt manner. To load and unload delivery vehicles if required. To ensure that stock (inc frames and glass) are properly kept and that regular audits thereon are completed and actioned on with any discrepancies being reported in a timely manner. Skills/Attributes: Outstanding sales, communication and organisation skills. Able to work well within and supervise a close team environment. A firm understanding of what makes for a superior customer experience. Knowledge and experience within the PVCu Window, Cellular and Composite Door or wider construction industries would be an advantage. Self-motivated, driven and enthusiastic. Broad based computer skills including Window Design software. Previous sales experience in a branch environment. Full UK driver licence. More importantly we are looking for people that possess a positive outlook, a can-do attitude and strong sales leaders.
