Job Description Reporting to the Branch Managers, you are responsible for the achievement of sales targets and developing a high performing sales team. Establish appropriate tactics to achieve the team's market share, profit and other key aims about sales in a defined area. Contribute to the company's knowledge of the marketplace. Monitor and review their team's customer contact strategy through Crown 360. Coach and motivate the sales team to achieve sales related targets and key indicators. Manage discount levels and activity of their team. Develop the team to maximum potential. Be responsible for the health, safety and well-being of their team. Develop strategies to promote the company's products and services. Hire, train and motivate sales teams. Prepare sales forecasts, establishing sales goals for the Area Sales Managers. Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and improve results. Establish best practices and enforce compliance. Perform market research and collect customer feedback to improve service delivery. Evaluate performance, compile sales reports and submit them to senior management. Skills and Experience We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate a successful sales track record within the electric warehousing equipment sector or a similar or aligned industry such as pallet racking systems. We place emphasis on career stability and therefore look for an employment history that demonstrates this. You will be a self-starter and have a strong work ethic, high energy, drive and determination. Demonstrates the capability to coach and manage a sales team. Ability to understand the commercial implications of their actions. Results oriented, customer focused, enthusiastic and proactive. Minimum of 5 years Materials Handling sales background ideally within the Fork Lift Industry. Strong new business development skills. Personable – ability to build strong relationships. Strong presentation and customer facing skills (written and verbal presentations, equipment demonstration, price negotiation and objection handling). Commercial acumen (need identification, market awareness, competitor awareness). Solution sales ability. Numerically competent. Excellent organisational skills. Ability to absorb client information and communicate features and benefits to customers. The Benefits Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – 37 hours per week but may be more to fulfil the job requirements. Company Vehicle: Company Car and fuel card with private mileage benefit.
