We’re looking for an experienced and talented Brand and Content Manager to take ownership of our brand and content production. We’ve recently reviewed our communications strategy, so you’ll be joining us at a critical time where we want to continue to build our brand and produce content that resonates, influences and contributes to the impact we’re having. You’ll be our in-house designer, expert for all things content and our brand guardian. You’ll be instrumental in helping to refine our approach to content to ensure it’s impactful, accessible and innovative. You’ll help us develop our brand, and ensure it’s used consistently across the organisation. This means you’ll care deeply about creating exceptional content and communications, and thrive when working highly collaboratively with a team of colleagues to use brand and content to achieve our organisational goal. Key Responsibilities

Strategy and planning Develop and lead the delivery of the brand and content planning for Impact on Urban Health. Set the creative direction for branded content, ensuring the effectiveness and impact of all our outputs. Support designing and embedding new processes and ways of working across teams to plan and deliver branded outputs successfully. Help develop content with a deep understanding of our audiences and personas, applying best practice, sound judgement and creativity to achieve our goals. Brand guardianship and development Evolve and keep up to date brand guidelines and commission projects to develop the brand over time. Act as a trusted advisor on best ways to translate the brand to our key audiences. Champion the value of brand and good brand management among key internal and external stakeholders. Uphold and demonstrate our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in all uses of our brand and content production. Project and resource management Produce, and oversee production and quality of, branded content, both digital and physical, including, but not limited to reports, digital assets and multimedia content. Manage the brand and content production function E2E from briefing to completion, embedding new ways of working to ensure smooth delivery of high-quality work. Effectively project manage workflow, prioritising resources to meet delivery deadlines with clear scheduling and approvals. Recruit, brief and manage a roster of freelancers across all areas of content production, including copywriting, design, illustration, photography and film. Oversee the file management of creative assets and content. Work closely with the Digital Manager to ensure the brand is effectively translated into digital channels. Evaluation Support the development of a brand evaluation and tracking strategy. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communications with other colleagues to identify and improve the best combinations of activities and outputs to help achieve our goals. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Skills, abilities, and attributes: Delivery-minded with a can-do attitude. Highly organised, excellent at prioritising and able to juggle multiple projects and milestones. Strong attention to detail, able to spot errors and point to improvements. Commitment to high quality balanced with pragmatism, making sound decisions and troubleshooting where needed. Keen interest in new content formats and approaches to content production. Comfortable with emerging ways of working, and working across teams. Excellent at building relationships, with a win-win approach to negotiating. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Proactive and solutions-focused: Committed to championing audience needs and acting on feedback. Excellent copy-editing and proofing skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to identify strong creative quality, with an eye for good design and detail. Committed to constant learning and improving, and to embedding diversity, equity and inclusion. Knowledge, experience, and qualifications: Design and editing skills. Confident understanding of the strategic value of brand, and of realising it through content. Experience producing content for different audiences and using a variety of formats, from reports to film. Confident management of a busy schedule of content production, with multiple projects running concurrently with different deadlines and stakeholders. Effective briefing and managing of creative contractors. Experience of evaluating content performance. Understanding of brand and tone of voice, and how it applies to content. Experience of translating communications and influencing goals into successful products. Strong practical understanding of content formats and what works best to land a specific message or prompt a particular behaviour. Understanding of image rights and personal data protection. Understanding of standard contracts with creative suppliers. Managing a successful content production function, embedding processes and ways of working. Apply now
