- Are you looking for a new role in an organisation that promotes collaboration, creativity and innovation as a Brand Communications Manager? Then keep reading! As the Communications Manager for Crown Paints you will be responsible for all internal and external comms for our exciting portfolio of branded products, stores and services. You will also lead on corporate communications, including championing our industry-leading ESG programme ‘Project Possible’. Responsibilities Strategy - Lead on our communications strategy, in collaboration with our Retail and Trade marketing teams, ensuring our plans support our long-term strategic goals and business ambitions. Planning - Own the critical paths for all communications, campaigns and media planning, ensuring we deliver complementary comms schedules that factor in the many strands of our varied audiences and propositions. Execution - Be responsible for the delivery of all communications, working with all relevant stakeholders to advise on optimal content by media channel, ensuring best possible return on our plans and investments. Social Media - Lead social media communications (organic and paid) to increase brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty. Event management - Plan and coordinate corporate events, product and colour launches, and other key campaigns, including working with external partners and stakeholders. Internal Communications - Manage internal communications, keeping employees informed, engaged, and up to date with company initiatives. Crisis Communications - Act as the company spokesperson in the event of a crisis, developing and completing crisis communication plans. Measurement and optimisation - Track and evaluate the efficiency of communication and campaigns, providing reports and recommendations for improvements based on performance indicators. Team leadership - Set priorities for a team of 3 communication professionals, ensuring communications plans are delivered on time and with optimal results. Agency management - Manage our roster of media and communication agencies. Monitor critical metrics, SLAs and SOWs to ensure they are kept up-to-date and relevant. Budget management - Oversee our multimillion £ communications budget, ensuring accurate forecast phasing and tight control of costs. Qualifications Required Skills Strong experience in communications with a previous people and campaign management role/experience Strong understanding of media relations, social media platforms, content strategy, and brand management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail. Experience in leading company-wide initiatives, mobilising cross-functional teams and working with senior stakeholders / business leaders. Ability to think strategically and creatively while being able to complete tactical plans effectively. A passion for ESG, especially sustainably, community and charity.
