We're looking for a talented

Brand Content Writer

to join our Brand Marketing team based in our

Stockton-on-Tees HQ. You will be responsible for the research, content production, and ongoing management of the brand marketing team’s content calendar, which will sit across a variety of channels and formats to support the wider brand marketing strategy.

Day-to-day responsibilities

Day-to-day activities will include creating personable and engaging content designed to improve search rankings, increase traffic, improve audience engagement, and onsite experience for the Visualsoft brand. This includes but is not limited to blog articles, campaign ads, social media, white papers, web, email, print, and key award submissions. As a true brand guardian, your role will heavily rely on a mixture of self-generated research and proactivity, plus working collaboratively with the wider Visualsoft teams to ensure that all of our content is on brand, in our tone of voice, personal, engaging, accurate, and really hits the brief. With a real variety of campaigns and projects to manage, being able to multitask, self-proofread, and manage tight deadlines while producing high-quality content that resonates is absolutely essential. Minimum Requirements

Experience of copywriting for brand and B2B ideally within a digital marketing, tech, or SaaS environment - with evidence of how you would produce an ongoing content calendar. Excellent understanding of how to create content that attracts a qualified audience using tone of voice across a variety of channels. Knowledge and understanding of wider SEO practices and a passion for keeping abreast of the latest trends, industry best practices, and algorithm changes. Exceptional writing and grammar skills with the ability to write content for different formats and audiences. Naturally creative and able to create unique content ideas from self-initiated research. Excellent time management and communication skills with an obsessive attention to detail. A willingness to learn how wider SEO (including technical, outreach, and strategy) works alongside content creation. Ability to foster strong professional relationships at all levels. Detailed understanding of content strategy and how to create content that attracts a qualified audience at all stages of the sales funnel. Thorough understanding of tools relevant to the role: Searchmetrics, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc. A detailed understanding of how marketing decisions affect the commercial elements of a client’s business.
