Role Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Director, Prestige & Advocacy, you will be responsible for leading efforts to build advocacy for the Scotch & Irish Brand Portfolio, both internally and externally. Working with cross-functional teams, you will build programs, assets and initiatives that educate and inspire target audiences about our Scotch and Irish brands. In addition, you’ll act as a key point of contact for local advocacy resources around the world, ensuring they are armed with the knowledge and support they need to build advocacy at a local level. Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive brand advocacy strategy aligned with the Scotch and Irish brand house objectives and values. Education and Training:
Develop educational programs and training materials for internal teams, trade partners, and consumers to deepen understanding and appreciation of the Scotch and Irish category and our brands. Coaching and Influence:
Provide coaching and support to the S&I Global Brand Ambassador and the broader team of Scotch and Irish brand ambassadors and Key City Leads. Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the S&I brand house and Prestige Key City leads. Category and Brand Education:
Execute a meaningful education and engagement plan to ensure the S&I brand house and broader SGS business can sell Scotch with confidence. Trade and Media Representative:
Curate relationships with global media, including influencers and media outlets. Content Development:
Collaborate with global marketing teams to create compelling product and brand content. Budget Management:
Manage the brand advocacy budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated strategically to maximize ROI. Qualifications
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate teams. • World-class communication and presentation skills. • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for storytelling. • Deep knowledge of the Scotch whisky category, global whisky market trends and consumer behavior. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Entrepreneurial attitude.
