What will you work on? Reporting to the Brand Finance Manager, the Brand Finance Analyst will ensure that budgeting, forecasting and pricing is accurate and timely, along with providing reporting and decision support to the commercial teams. The Brand Finance Analyst will be a key contributor to the quarterly forecasting and monthly performance tracking processes, working with both finance and non-finance colleagues across Europe to further understanding of financial performance. Whilst supporting decision making on new products the individual will gain a strong insight into the product line up and the levers which can be used to influence profitability and cash flow. Together with Sales Marketing; own, maintain, and ensure accuracy of Toy Line Plans (TLPs) and of all TLP rates. Support the VCA (Vendor Cost Approval) process for Europe with any Europe specific TLPs as required. Provide support training for the Automated TLP tool to Sales and Marketing teams. Ensure all price lists are created and validated, Market lead approvals obtained, and accurate pricing is set up in the systems (SAP) on a timely basis. Preparation of PL budgets and forecasts working closely with Sales, Marketing, Europe FPA, Financial Reporting and Operations Finance teams. Provide commercial finance partner support to the Sales teams. Model financial scenarios and PL’s for new products and/or initiatives. Support business decisions relating to Allowances Agreements (return on Trade Investment in Marketing vs Allowances) and Demand Plans etc. Develop a solid understanding of the profit levers. Understand the operational commercial limitations and advise business stakeholders and senior management on how to maximise contribution. Provide brand product profitability and performance tracking, reporting and analysis. Responsibility for the management of all sales allowance costs and for ensuring that the team have control, reporting and understanding of all allowance costs by customer and by calendar year. Communicating any changes in allowances (terms and OA) to Credit Collection, Finance Managers and the Senior Manager Brand Finance Europe. Carry out ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed. Drive continuous improvements to deliver more efficient and effective business support to the commercial teams. Support any local and global projects as required. Act as advisor to the Sales teams on Brand Finance matters. What are your skills and experience? Graduate or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar. Qualified Finance Professional with a minimum experience of 2-4 years preferably in the FMCG, Toy or Fashion industries. Fluent English skills are a key requirement. Expert level of working with Excel, SAP, SAP BI, BOBJ and BPC. Evidence of successful business support experience and collaborative partnering skill to influence up and down the organisation. Integrity, honesty and understanding of data privacy standards. Excellent communication skills, rigorous, organised and able to work collaboratively with commercial and finance teams within Europe and Internationally. Strong organisational skills, detail oriented, able to work independently and a self-starter. Excellent mathematical, analytical, problem solving skills. Thorough understanding of business principles and practices. Excellent in data gathering and interpretation. Ability to travel for business purposes as required. What you can expect from us:
