Job description

We are recruiting for a Brand Marketing Manager on behalf of PLAION, a global leader in the video game industry, renowned developer, publisher, and distributor of interactive entertainment. As part of the Embracer Group, Europe's largest gaming group, they are responsible for delivering innovative and immersive gaming experiences worldwide.

As Brand Marketing Manager, you will take a leading role in planning, communicating, and executing global marketing campaigns for a diverse portfolio of high-profile titles. You will work within the Global Brand and Marketing Division, transforming brand strategies into impactful marketing communications across multiple channels.

This role requires a seasoned marketer adept at handling multi-channel campaigns, from initial announcement through to product launch and beyond.

Your responsibilities... Lead and deliver global, multi-channel marketing activations with a team of brand and marketing professionals. Develop and execute marketing strategies to target key markets and audiences. Coordinate central media, digital, influencer, and partner teams to drive integrated campaigns. Foster collaborative relationships with internal teams to ensure consistent execution. Regularly communicate with regional teams to amplify global campaigns and support local initiatives. Track and analyse campaign performance with the Insight and Analytics team to optimize strategies. Manage the global marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing ROI. Collaborate with external vendors and internal creative teams to deliver localized marketing materials. Strategic marketing experience, creating marketing plans to take games to market. Previously launched one or more AAA games. Experience of managing a team of 5 or more brand/marketing professionals. Experience in a Product or Marketing Manager role at a central level, with local marketing experience being an advantage. Significant experience within the games industry, ideally with exposure to multiple aspects of the business. Strong communication skills, able to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively. In-depth knowledge of the Western AAA games market, with a focus on PR, social, and community channels. Passion for gaming, with a deep understanding of gaming communities and trends. Adept at project and budget management. A blend of creative and analytical skills. Educated to graduate level or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., MBA). Excellent organizational and time management capabilities. Fluent in English with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
