GENERAL FUNCTION The Training Expert is responsible for the delivery, facilitation and monitoring of Leonardo learning & development activities across his/her assigned area of expertise and scope. You will play a crucial role in inspiring and motivating learners from a wide variety of business units. You will provide a consultative interaction with stakeholders to promote alignment of the training contents to the business needs. This includes partnering with Leonardo leadership and Education Managers in creating learning curriculums and impactful content. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Motivate, coach, and inspire learners to be avid brand ambassadors and deliver a consistently excellent customer experience. Ensure operational excellence and adherence to brand standards. Partner with the business to design and deliver in-person and virtual training courses. Manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively to drive and promote learning curriculum. Analyze learner needs and collaborate to ensure assignment of relevant learning content. Lead learning initiatives and track/report on Leonardo KPIs. Partner with the Education Manager to assess how learning has impacted behavior. Build relationships with learners to foster digital learning and cultivate a culture of learning. Review localized content for digital courses. Innovate to improve learning experiences through research. Support field leadership in team building and engagement. Provide consistent and timely support to resolve learner’s queries. Work in line with duty of care and ensure Health & Safety guidelines are followed. Work in line with local and Group Environmental & energy policies. Work in line with local and EU legislation, abiding by the legal compliance policy. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience with commercial brands/products, and customer experience excellence. Experience in training delivery and learning development. Retail experience at management or wholesale sales representative level. Proficient in digital and virtual learning tools. Exceptional facilitation, communication, and motivational skills. Fluent written and spoken English. Strong relationship and stakeholder management abilities. Comfortable in providing live feedback to colleagues. Problem solving and generating creative solutions. Ability to adapt to different circumstances and audiences. Adaptable, proactive, and able to prioritize. Experience with reporting tasks and excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Dispensing experience in the optical field preferred.
