Sunderland Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bricklayer's Labourer to join our clients team and support a skilled bricklayer on various construction projects for a housing association. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing materials, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and ensuring the bricklayer has everything required to complete tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities Of Bricklayers Labourer Assisting the bricklayer with preparing and mixing mortar to the correct consistency. Carrying and transporting bricks, blocks, and other materials to the worksite. Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, removing debris, and disposing of waste. Loading and unloading tools, materials, and equipment as needed. Ensuring materials are stocked and readily available for the bricklayer. Setting up work areas, including scaffolding and safety barriers where required. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Performing additional tasks as directed by the bricklayer or site manager. Skills And Experience Required Previous experience in a similar labouring or construction role is advantageous but not essential. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials. Awareness of on-site health and safety practices. Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
