Do you have the desire, ambition and design knowledge within the bridges and civil structures sector to stand out from the crowd and make a difference?

We are looking for you to bring to our client, your passion and flair for bridge design, by taking an active role in helping build on their design capability and to support multi-discipline bids and projects in both the public and private sector. Currently involved with several interesting and high-profile civil structures projects, with a strong secured future workload.

Based out of their Redhill office (hybrid working), they will look at you to get involved in bridge and civil structural design and assessment, capturing the technical quality and content, prior to issuing to the client and by supervising and assisting others in accordance with senior management requirements.

Daily activity will be varied and exciting, allowing you to use your skills in a multitude of ways. This will include but not limited to:

Liaising with clients to identify their specific requirements.

Delivering quality technical design, assessment and inspection reports in line with national standards and the client specific brief.

Promoting where applicable innovative solutions.

Ensuring full compliance with health and safety requirements.

They have built very strong relationships supporting both the private and public sectors, are at the forefront of bridge design and have a strong brand name within the industry.

All they ask from yourself is that you hold a relevant degree in civil or structural engineering, have the desire to achieve Chartered status, have awareness of relevant bridge and structural design software, able to design in major materials including RC, Steel, masonry and timber and able to write sound technical reports.
