To ensure the continued success of the infrastructure team, our client seeks a technically-sound Bridge / Civil Structures Engineer to assist the Manchester team to grow due to the ongoing and increased workload.

Job Description The role in the Manchester office will involve bridge and civil structural design and assessment, capturing the technical quality and content prior to issuing to the client by assisting others in accordance with senior management requirements.

The role of the graduate engineer will include but not be limited to the following:

Liaise with clients to identify their specific requirements;

Deliver quality technical design, assessment and inspection reports in line with National Standards and the client specific brief;

Promote where applicable innovative solutions;

Ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements.

Key Requirements

Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;

Chartered Engineer with a minimum of two years' relevant UK experience in bridge design;

Ability to write sound technical reports;

Ability to self-manage and support the team;

Ability and awareness of relevant bridge and structural design software;

Ability to design in major materials including RC, Steel, masonry, and timber;

Temporary works experience preferred;

Rail/Highway experience preferred.
