Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Transport Planner. This would be a full-time, permanent position based out of the company's office in the Dumfries area. A critical role for the business, you will be tasked with planning the collection and delivery of goods across the UK. Main Responsibilities: Communication with drivers and customers Planning drivers and vehicles Solving any logistical issues Other duties deemed relevant to the role Essential Skills and Experience: Previous experience working within a Transport Planning position for a haulage company Knowledge of working time directive and driver regulations Customer service skills Excellent communication skills
