Undergraduate/Post Graduate
looking to join the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Planning and Design (EPD) team in Cardiff and Bristol. Their teams undertake extensive work in Wales and would like to involve placement students from Welsh universities in upcoming projects. Working alongside an experienced team you will predominantly be working on Welsh renewable generation projects. This work is often in collaboration with other RSK Group technical teams such as archaeology, landscape and visual, ecology, noise, and air quality. You must be currently studying in a
Welsh University
or have recently graduated from a Welsh University and be willing to work in Wales. Role Responsibilities: Assisting and supporting with tender and project work Assisting with the coordination of technical teams Writing reports for clients Desk-based research Analysis and interpretation of tender and project data Person Specification: Studying Environmental Science or Geography or other relevant environmental course at a Welsh university A passion and interest in the environment and sustainability A general appreciation of consultancy and, in particular, EIA An enthusiastic approach, willingness to listen/learn, can-do attitude and openness to opportunity Clear, concise and confident communication Precise analytical skills Full driving licence desirable but not essential; access to a company vehicle will be provided for site visits Salary and Benefits: £22,880 Contributory Pension Scheme Flexible benefits programme: healthcare cash plan and payroll giving Cycle-to-work scheme, additional holiday purchase and gym subsidies Additional training available in First Aid, In-house career development Mentoring from experienced professionals RSK Group is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
