We are looking for someone who will support the development and delivery of broker propositions, to support UK General Insurance (GI) strategy. This is a great job for someone looking for their next career step and who wants to make an impact by joining the UK’s leading Insurance, Wealth and Retirement business!

A bit about the job: The Broker Propositions Team is at the centre of our distribution approach and in recent years has been responsible for the development of key initiatives such as Club 110, The Aviva Future Leader Programme, Succession support, Marketplace, The Aviva Development Zone & Assure. Our solutions and approach have been described by business leaders as ‘the secret sauce’ behind our success and as the complexity of running broking businesses increases, we continue to develop new initiatives to help brokers to be better brokers.

Within this role you will be providing support in designing and developing market leading propositions initiatives to increase the associated financial gain to Aviva whilst driving greater emotional connection between Aviva and its broker partners.

Additionally, you will:

Support the creation and deployment of proposition services to enable Aviva to pull brokers towards us and make Aviva their insurer of choice.

Be responsible for gathering insight and the analysis of data, reporting trends and opportunities to assist the development of Aviva’s broker propositions suite.

Build relationships with appropriate third party proposition suppliers to ensure key deliverables are met, whilst tracking the effectiveness of their services.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Good understanding of the broker market and segmentation.

Strong desire to challenge the status quo and cultivate new ways of working.

Analytical, with ability to interpret data outputs.

Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with attention to detail.

Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.

What you’ll get for this role:

National salary up to £44,000, London salary up to £56,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).

Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.

Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.

29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days.

Make your money go further - Up to 40% discount on Aviva products, and other retailer discounts.

Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and share in the success of Aviva with our Save As You Earn scheme.

Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer’s leave.

Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work.

Make a difference, be part of our Aviva Communities and use your 3 paid volunteering days to help others.

We take your wellbeing seriously with lots of support and tools.

Inclusivity Statement: Aviva is for everyone: We’re inclusive and welcome everyone – we want applications from all backgrounds and experiences. Excited but not sure you tick every box? Even if you don’t, we would still encourage you to apply. We also consider all forms of flexible working, including part time and job shares.
