Inside IR35 I am currently working with a London Borough in their search for an experienced Social Care Brokerage professional for a 3-month initial interim contract to join their brokerage team to support with their adults and children's social care agenda. To be eligible for this position, you must have past brokerage experience within a local authority setting. Your duties as a Brokerage Officer: Work across the children's and adult social care service, ensuring effective purchasing arrangements for approved care and support plans from needs assessments. Brokering of older people and children's residential homes, children's foster homes, adult home care, and supported living. Accurately maintain records and system work, monitoring allocations and placements across social care. Support time discharges from hospital where needed and negotiate fees in conjunction with advice and support.
