About us North Worcestershire Building Control is a shared service serving Bromsgrove District, Redditch Borough, and Wyre Forest District Councils. The role An opportunity exists for a fully qualified and experienced surveyor to join our team as part of our service delivery in the North Worcestershire area. Key requirements We are looking for self-motivated, customer-oriented individuals capable of providing an excellent service to new and existing customers. You can hit the ground running. Skills & experience You will be a registered building inspector to Class 2 A-F and be experienced in and capable of dealing with the full range of building control duties including plan vetting, site inspections, enforcement, and dangerous structures. You will have a full driving licence. You will hold a suitable qualification in this or an associated field. You will be aware of the challenges facing building control and be willing to address these to the best of your abilities, including competency validation renewal for the Building Safety Regulator, which will of course be fully supported, plus compliance with the Building Inspectors Competency Framework and Codes of Conduct.
