Join Great Yarmouth Borough Council's Building Control Service as a Building Control Surveyor. Recently voted Council of the Year at the LGC Awards, we are seeking a registered Building Inspector at Class 2 level (residential and non-residential) to join our team.

Working as part of a busy and ambitious team dealing with an interesting range of building projects and other case-work, the successful candidate will carry out plan assessments and site inspection work to ensure building works comply with Building Regulations. You will assist the Head of Planning and the wider Building Control Team with operations within the Borough and undertake inspection/work, including consultation and liaison with other sections and departments, as part of our range of exciting regeneration projects.

The successful candidate will ensure that Building Control work is carried out in accordance with documented procedures, timescales, and deadlines.

Salary:

£36,124 - £39,513 per annum pro rata for part-time hours
