We're looking for an experienced and highly skilled Building Control Surveyor (Interim) to join our client's team in North West London. This role will focus on delivering compliance with Building Regulations and the Building Act across a designated area of the borough, including major projects and cross-boundary developments.
Key Details:
Temporary role until May 2025 (potential for extension) Hybrid / On-site working Full-time, 35 hours per week Rates: £47.00 ph PAYE / £60.00 ph Umbrella
Your Role:
Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and the Building Act across major projects. Deliver high-quality building control services and contribute to achieving service targets. Conduct site inspections, assess applications, and advise on regulatory compliance. Work closely with developers, architects, and contractors to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Assist in managing cross-boundary projects and contribute to strategic service improvements.
What We're Looking For:
Registered Building Inspector (RBI) (minimum Class 2F required, Class 3 preferred). Proven experience in Building Control and regulatory compliance. Strong technical knowledge of construction and legislation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to handle major projects and cross-boundary developments.
