Building Control Surveyor
to ensure compliance with Building Regulations for a range of construction projects in Taunton. As a Registered Building Inspector, you'll inspect works in progress, assess plans, and manage dangerous structures and demolitions, contributing to a safe built environment. This is a full-time, temporary assignment offering £58 Umbrella LTD per hour (approx. £45.90 PAYE per hour). Key Responsibilities : Enforce Building Regulations, ensuring safety and compliance. Conduct inspections, plan assessments, and manage demolitions. Lead on fire safety and life safety matters. Support junior staff with technical expertise. Handle legal proceedings and enforcement actions when necessary. Qualifications : Membership of RICS, CABE, or CIOB. Achieved or working towards Class 2 registration. Strong knowledge of Building Safety Act and Building Regulations. Excellent decision-making and communication skills.
