We are seeking a Fabric Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in overseeing all fabric maintenance tasks across one of London's most iconic sites. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality standards are met, managing a team of skilled tradespeople, and liaising with clients to uphold the condition and appearance of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day fabric maintenance tasks, including repairs, renovations, and general upkeep of building structures and finishes. Supervise a team of tradespeople and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard and in line with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, particularly on heritage sites where special care is required. Work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and conservation specialists to maintain the integrity of historical and listed buildings. Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to site operations. Maintain accurate records, including work schedules, site reports, and compliance documentation. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in fabric maintenance processes and procedures.

Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in a fabric supervisory role, preferably within a facilities management environment. Experience working on heritage sites or historical buildings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of building fabric maintenance, including carpentry, plastering, masonry, and painting. A good understanding of conservation principles and sensitivity to heritage preservation. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and compliance requirements. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with excellent organisational skills. Relevant qualifications in building maintenance, construction, or a related field would be advantageous.

What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package. Opportunities for professional growth and development. The chance to work on prestigious and historically significant projects. A supportive and collaborative working environment.

How to Apply: If you're passionate about preserving heritage sites and have the skills to lead a team in delivering exceptional fabric maintenance, we'd love to hear from you.

Join us in shaping the future while preserving the past.
