We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Building Officer to join our Facilities Management team, overseeing the day-to-day Facilities Management operations of KCC’s Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children (UASC) portfolio. What you’ll do:

Deliver day-to-day operational support for a number of buildings to ensure accommodation and services are delivered to a high standard. Liaise with building stakeholders and manage contractors. Oversee the ongoing programme of building audits and performance across a range of services to ensure continuous improvement, building standards, compliance, and H&S requirements are met. Ensure building safety, functionality, and efficiency while delivering excellent customer service to all building users. What you’ll need:

Experience in Facilities Management. High level of experience in partnership working within a public sector setting. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and building compliance. This role will require travel across the county and office estate. This role is subject to holding a Full UK Driving licence – The Council is committed to making reasonable adjustments so your application will still be considered if you are unable to drive due to a disability.
