Key Responsibilities: Lead energy-related aspects of diverse design projects, delivering energy models and strategies. Prepare planning and 'As Built' documentation, including overheating and BREEAM reports. Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure project success. Provide guidance to junior engineers and contribute to the development of efficient design systems and procedures.
What They're Looking For: Proven experience in
energy modelling (TAS/IES or similar)
and low/zero carbon energy strategies. Relevant certifications, including
LCEA EPC Level 5
and
Low Carbon Consultant Certification . Strong understanding of overheating calculations
(Part O/TM52/TM59)
and financial modelling for energy processes. A degree or equivalent qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Chartered Engineer status or working towards it. A dynamic personality with excellent communication skills and a client-focused attitude.
