Role: Building Regulations Principal Designer (Multiple Positions) Location: UK Wide (Remote or Hybrid) Salary: £45,000 – £70,000 (DOE) + package

WRG is proud to have recently teamed up with a global built environment consultancy with exciting projects spanning across the UK. We are seeking experienced Building Regulations Principal Designer to join their dynamic CDM/Principal Designer teams across the UK. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a diverse range of clients across the UK’s built environment, contributing to high-profile projects and ensuring compliance with building regulations. Building Regulations Principal Designer Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and support in fulfilling Principal Designer responsibilities, ensuring full compliance with Building Regulations across both Higher-Risk (HRB) and Non-Higher Risk (non-HRB) projects. Conduct building inspections, site visits, and prepare reports. Provide advice on the Building Safety Act and ensure all projects follow current building regulations and legal requirements. Attend client and design meetings to offer guidance on building regulations. Work closely with Principal Designers, Contractors, Architects, and other teams to ensure project compliance. Review and approve plans submitted for Building Regulation approval. Inspect buildings at key stages of construction. Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act, building regulations, codes, and legislation. A degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Membership with RICS, CABE, or CIOB. Experience inspecting buildings and properties. BSR registration (preferred but not essential). In Return:

Salary between £45,000 – £70,000 (DOE) + Package. Remote /Hybrid working. 25 days of annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays. Travel and mileage expenses reimbursed. Private healthcare coverage.
