Scope We are looking for MRICS qualified individuals to deliver compliance audits across our UK agency and consultancy/non-transactional service lines in our Residential and Commercial directorates. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have experience of operational or audit delivery in one or more of the following service lines within a RICS regulated firm: Project Management & Building Consultancy Commercial Agency / Capital Markets Rural Asset Management / Rural Lettings / Rural Consultancy

The responsibilities of the Auditor will include reviewing documents and files which cover the end-to-end of an instruction, making an informed assessment of compliance against defined audit criteria, drafting audit reports which clearly articulate issues and risks to the business and recommendations for improvement, and communicating audit results to individual auditees. You may also be asked to contribute to the development of audit assessment criteria for one or more service lines. You will deliver against an audit plan which will feed into the reporting to various governing bodies across the Firm. All audits and auditee meetings are conducted remotely, therefore access to a personal computer and internet connection, and a high degree of IT literacy, is essential. Responsibilities

Supporting the Audit Manager with the development of audit programmes and defining of audit criteria, as required Conducting independent audits by reviewing systems and documents and assessing compliance against defined audit criteria Identifying risks and issues Drafting reports with findings from each audit Communicating audit results to individuals and providing recommendations for improvement

Professional experience and personal skills profile Qualifications/Experience Required

MRICS/ARLA qualified (essential) 5+ years' experience in an audit or operational role within a RICS regulated firm Knowledge and understanding of RICS professional standards Excellent communication and organisation skills Strong analytical skills Flexible, adaptable and cooperative with the ability to remain calm under pressure Excellent standard of English grammar and spelling Takes pride in presentation of work with a fair and diligent manner Dedicated with strong attention to detail and time management skills

Systems & IT competence

High degree of IT literacy (essential) Microsoft Office Power BI (beneficial but not essential) Audit systems (beneficial but not essential)
