I'm looking for a Building Surveyor to join a small dedicated team that works on a variety of exciting projects for high-profile clients across the UK. You'll gain exposure to both professional and project-based surveying work while playing a key role in driving the team's success.
Your responsibilities will include: Managing key client accounts and fostering strong relationships. Identifying new opportunities and supporting business development efforts. Preparing reports such as due diligence, feasibility studies, and maintenance recommendations. Conducting building inspections, analysing defects, and recommending repairs. Delivering schedules of dilapidations, reinstatement cost assessments, and specifications of works. Administering contracts, valuations, and certifications. Advising on Health & Safety and CDM regulations. Requirements: A degree in Building Surveying and relevant industry experience. MRICS qualification with post-qualification experience (private practice preferred). Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to generate and deliver new business. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage instructions from start to finish. Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, NBS, and Microsoft Office.
