We are seeking two experienced Building Surveyors to join a Worcestershire-based housing association on a temporary contract with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with expertise in responsive repairs and maintenance, working within the social housing sector to ensure high-quality property standards and effective repairs management. Key Responsibilities:

Responsive Repairs & Maintenance:

Conduct inspections, diagnose defects, and specify works for housing stock. Contractor & Supplier Management:

Liaise with contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

Monitor work standards, ensuring compliance with building regulations and health & safety policies. Resident & Stakeholder Liaison:

Engage with tenants and internal teams to resolve repair issues efficiently. Budget & Cost Control:

Ensure value-for-money solutions for responsive repair works. What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in building surveying, responsive repairs, or maintenance within social housing. Strong knowledge of housing legislation, building regulations, and health & safety compliance. Excellent problem-solving and project management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Building Surveying, CIOB, RICS accreditation – desirable). Why Join Us?
