Symonds & Sampson LLP seeks a Building Surveyor to join our Building Survey and Design department based in Dorset. The role offers the opportunity for an individual to become part of a team while growing an area of expertise. The right candidate can develop and progress their career to the highest level. The work will include but not be limited to: Specification and Procurement Contract Administration Pre-purchase Residential Surveys (Private Instructions Level 2 & 3) Defect diagnosis and reporting And preferably: Dilapidations Party Wall EXPERIENCE Minimum of 3 years post qualification (MRICS), or 5 years post accreditation (AssocRICS) ESSENTIAL SKILLS A willingness to help develop the department and work/train with assistants/ graduates Full driving license and willing to cover the Symonds & Sampson region Hybrid working will be considered for the right candidate REWARDS A competitive salary dependant on experience Market-leading commission structure Training and subscriptions of RICS and any additional qualifications required Opportunity to establish a client base and progress career Holiday starting at 30 days per year including bank holidays and increasing with long service Work based pension scheme Company events Starting Date : February 2025 preferable, but negotiable for the right candidate Closing Date : Friday 31st January.
