Building Test Technician , you will conduct critical compliance testing on buildings, ensuring they meet UK Building Regulations standards. This role requires a flexible and detail-oriented professional committed to delivering high-quality results. Building Test Technician Key Responsibilities: Conduct airtightness tests, ventilation performance tests, and heat transfer coefficient testing in compliance with UK Building Regulations and client specifications. Provide advisory services, liaise with clients and site management, and present findings effectively. Identify and resolve faults, analyse results, and produce detailed reports following company and regulatory procedures. Perform routine checks on equipment and vehicles, ensuring functionality and reporting maintenance needs. Adhere to corporate and client standards, policies, and procedures. Undertake administrative duties within required timescales and other relevant tasks as needed. What They Are Looking For: Essential: Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant test standards. A clean driving licence. Understanding of Health & Safety regulations. Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service. Desirable: CSCS card or equivalent. A university-level degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience. Building Test Technician Key Attributes: Analytical and detail-oriented mindset. Dynamic and flexible approach to work.
