Bus Fleet Electrician - Omagh - Permanent Are you an experienced electrician looking to take your skills to the next level? Play a key role in maintaining the reliability and safety of our clients' bus fleet.

£31,741.52 per annum (£16.45 per hour)

As a Bus Fleet Electrician, you'll be responsible for the electrical maintenance and repair of vehicles, ensuring they meet Public Service Vehicle (PCV) standards. From diagnosing faults to responding to breakdowns, you'll play a vital role in keeping the fleet running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, service, and maintain vehicles to PCV standards.

Test, diagnose, and rectify electrical faults on vehicle systems.

Remove and replace vehicle components as needed.

Respond to vehicle breakdowns in a timely manner.

Complete all associated administrative duties.

What You Need:

A recognised Vehicle Apprenticeship with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant trade or discipline.

At least 2 years post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role, ideally working with commercial vehicles, buses, or coaches.

Strong diagnostic skills and a proven ability to deliver sound and safe work.

Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems, such as CAN-bus and Ad-blue systems.

Awareness of and compliance with Health & Safety regulations in the workplace.

willingness and ability to obtain a PCV licence.

Must meet the necessary medical standards for the role.
