Staff4Me is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Software Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Software Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team to design and implement testing strategies, execute test cases, and identify and track defects. Your role will be crucial in delivering high-quality software products to our clients. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and create test plans. Design and implement test cases and test scripts to verify software functionality. Execute test cases and document test results. Identify, track, and communicate software defects and issues to the development team. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and frameworks. Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and resolve reported defects. Stay updated with the latest quality assurance techniques and best practices. Assist in the documentation and maintenance of testing specifications and user manuals. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience as a Quality Software Engineer or in a similar role. Experience in designing and executing test cases and test scripts. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with bug tracking systems and version control tools. Good understanding of programming languages, such as Java or Python. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
