Job Responsibilities
Ensure consistent stock levels are maintained and storeroom is kept tidy and clean
Assist the store manager and duty managers to meet sales targets and manage wastage
Serve customers as required at deli or checkouts
Direct Retail Assistants in the absence of duty manager
Inspire customers to buy products through presentation, shelf refills, merchandising and stock management
Work with ordering processes within departments
Assist in providing a safe environment for our team and customers
Be familiar and ensure compliance with the ‘Food Act 2006’ and ‘Safe Food Australia’ standards
Assist the store management team in developing opportunities to maximise profit and meet customer needs
Support the grocery department and provide coaching and guidance to line staff
Respond to customer feedback or complaints in a timely manner
Undertake any other tasks as directed by management
Team effectiveness – act as a positive influence and work as part of a team
Work, Health & Safety (WHS) – follow all HIE WHS policies & procedures
Skills Requirement
Possess fantastic communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Should be of smart appearance and articulate
Be a reliable and motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic
Have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team including weekend work and night shifts
Hours of work
You will be rostered on 5 days per week. Working hours are Monday to Sunday 9am to 5pm.
