What you’ll do The Endpoint Architect will be a point of escalation and provide mentoring and coaching to engineers. The following provides an overview of the end user solutions which we are seeking competence in (but not limited to): A strong understanding of Enterprise endpoint management solutions (SCCM, Intune) A strong understanding of Microsoft Windows end user operating systems configuration & deployment A strong understanding of core Microsoft Supporting Infrastructure services (AD, Group Policy and users and computers) A good understanding of core Microsoft Supporting Infrastructure services (DHCP, DNS, PKI, Print Services, File Services, Exchange, SharePoint) Endpoint security technologies (such as Microsoft’s Defender for Endpoint, Symantec, CrowdStrike) A strong understanding of VDI and DaaS solutions including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Amazon Workspaces, Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365. Working knowledge of Microsoft supplementing competitor solutions such as Patch My PC, Aternity, Ivanti App Control and Airlock Digital. Public cloud exposure such as Azure and AWS as well as background in traditional on-premises hosting technologies (vCenter and / or Hyper-V) and supporting hybrid cloud technologies. We are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders’ changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs. What you’ll bring We are looking for someone with 8 years of IT industry experience plus experience in an Endpoint management role. You are passionate about your work, proactive, client-focused and believe in customer service as a point of differentiation in a service offering. You can work both independently on competing priorities and as part of a team, maintaining high relationship building skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: Knowledge of hardware and software vendor support processes, including product lifecycle Advanced End User Management experience Knowledge of modern and traditional SOE management methodologies Good financial management practices Analytical and problem solving skills, as well as good judgement Adherence to budget, schedule, work plans, and performance requirements Proven communication and negotiation skills Effective presentation, consultative and planning skills Why join us here at Datacom?
