As part of our dynamic team, you’ll be exposed to a range of tasks and responsibilities, combining general business administration with the specialized field of food safety. Role Overview: As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you will work closely with both the administrative team and the technical office, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This apprenticeship is a great way to develop key business skills, with additional focus on supporting food safety processes and compliance tasks. Key Responsibilities: Providing general administrative support, including handling correspondence, filing, and data entry. Assisting with scheduling and coordinating meetings, both internally and with external partners. Supporting the Technical Office with food safety documentation, including the preparation and management of compliance records. Assisting with audits and ensuring that all food safety procedures and guidelines are up to date and accurately maintained. Assisting in tracking, updating, and reviewing food safety reports, certifications, and audits. Maintaining databases, preparing spreadsheets, and generating reports related to both business administration and food safety compliance. Liaising with internal teams such as production, quality assurance, and purchasing, to ensure food safety standards are upheld. Managing stock and inventory records, particularly for products or equipment related to food safety. Ensuring all work adheres to GDPR guidelines and maintaining confidentiality. What We’re Looking For: A keen interest in both business administration and the food industry. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks. Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic IT skills. Enthusiasm for learning and professional development. No previous experience is required, but a passion for food safety and administration is a plus!
