Business Administration Manager

Glasgow Hospital | Finance | Part Time | Permanent |

Up to £39,678.46 per annum (pro-rata), depending on experience
24 hours per week job share (Monday - Wednesday 9am - 5pm)

The Opportunity

As our Business Administration Manager you will:

  • Managing the relationship with the Shared Service Centre and delivering on the Hospital's obligations of Service Level Agreements

  • Managing the co-ordination and resolution of queries arising from business processes

  • Management of Business Administration

  • Manage Financial Administration

  • Data Quality Management

  • Governance

  • KPI outcomes

  • Manage the non-clinical hospital teams' compliance towards Nuffield Health Standard Operating Procedures

  • Build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that hospital administrative processes are followed, and that data quality is maintained

  • Supporting Senior Management Team in financial analysis and reporting

  • Provide ongoing support and training to line managers and their teams around hospital administrative processes


The Person

To succeed as a Business Administration Manager, you will have:

  • The ability to develop good relationships

  • The ability to work collaboratively and influence peers

  • Attention to detail

  • Experience working in a busy customer facing business support function

  • Persistence, resilience and determination

  • Flexibility

  • Have excellent IT Skills (Outlook/Excel/Word)

  • Higher Education Standard; Math's - English (or) Degree is desirable

  • Financial membership and such accreditations is desirable

  • Working knowledge of finance / billing & utilisation of Excel

  • Proficient use of Patient Administration Systems: PIMS / TrakCare is desirable but not essential.

Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital
