Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

The Business Analyst role sits within the Service & Platforms Team within our Chief Information Office (CIO). The BA role is essential in supporting the business to deliver truly transformational change and realise its strategic vision.

The Business Analyst will have dual responsibilities: Be an active member of the Business Analysis Community of Practice at Irwin Mitchell, to ensure we continue to develop and grow our capability. Complete the relevant analysis and delivery activities across the initiatives in our portfolios. What You'll Be Doing

Identifying opportunities and solving problems using data-driven insights to drive prioritisation. Exercising curiosity to elicit information using business analysis tools/ techniques to understand business needs. Acting as a liaison between the project and the business, translating information to facilitate stakeholder consensus. Analyse and synthesise complex information to create focus and drive the right outcomes across the delivery portfolio. Ensuring the delivered solution meets the intended need and resolves the problem. Communicates effectively with stakeholders, to deliver outcomes aligned to the strategic directions of the organisation. Fosters collaboration and leadership, inviting ideas, supporting others, and handling feedback constructively. Promotes accountability, self-management, and continuous learning. Taking accountability for own work and adapting to new ideas. Prioritises customer value and encourages business growth, guided by client feedback. Creates and articulates a compelling vision and a path to achieve it. Generates value through focused delivery and commercial acumen, identifying critical connections and patterns in data and information. About You Curious, tenacious, and evaluative. Flexible communication and facilitation when talking with the business. Interviewing, questioning techniques & surveying skills. Ethical, human centric and empathy-based research approach to colleagues. Builds understanding around complex problems. Awareness of other competence around technology, people, process, and data.
