We are currently working with a global financial institution to recruit a Business Analyst on a day rate contract to work with large data sets providing detailed analysis, identifying and remediating data quality issues. The candidate must be an individual experienced with data and transformation to provide subject matter expertise and deliver meaningful solutions that are functional and sustainable. The ideal candidate will additionally be familiar with the overall Project Management lifecycle.
To be considered for this role you will be required to have the following skills/experience:
Expert knowledge of SQL and at least 2 years’ experience working with relational databases. Experience managing large data sets and data migrations is preferred. Advanced Excel skills to manage large volumes of data - including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, and other formulas. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. Must be extremely organized, motivated, and a self-starter. A continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to ask questions, challenge existing processes, and seek solutions. Working knowledge of Tableau and/or Python would be useful but not essential. This role will be a hybrid role with 3 days from the office in Belfast. Although the role is initially for a 12-month period, there is a high possibility of extension.
