- Your aim will be to generate and compile reports based on your own investigations and appropriate business data to recommend solutions which address business issues or add value.

Accountabilities

• Use defined, agreed-upon Business Analysis methods in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and for the enhancement of existing applications.

• Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging value in these systems.

• Work with various IT implementation teams, both formal and informal, to ensure successful delivery and rollout of change initiatives. This may include production of training materials, standard operating procedures, data migration documents, and process flows.

• Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support capital investment.

• Collaborate with business representatives and closely work with Product Owners and IT teams to understand and deliver business requirements.

• Define, document, and agree on processes that meet the agreed business goals and translate them into operational processes within the relevant business systems.

• Work as part of the IT team to integrate and align current and future business projects with the agreed strategy.

• Assist in the resolution of business issues through the effective use of Jira and Fresh Service.

• Manage and liaise with external suppliers and contractors as appropriate.

• Work in a structured way using the agreed Agile methodologies for Business Analysis and produce change deliverables/documentation in a timely manner.

Knowledge/Skills/Requirements necessary for full and effective performance

The ideal candidate will have a background that involves working within business analysis and preferably within the FMCG sector.

• The ability to demonstrate a background of Business Analysis within a large and complex infrastructure is highly desirable.

• A thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of Business Analysis management is essential.

• A thorough understanding of Business Analysis phases, techniques, and tools is essential.

• Strong and tested communication skills, including sponsor and risk management, are essential.

• An ability to quickly understand specific business processes and requirements is essential.

• Ability to provide realistic expectations, establish specific customer satisfaction standards, and actively monitor client satisfaction is essential.

• Knowledge of the current business analysis methodology and tools is preferable.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including communicating with technical and non-technical clients and staff at all organizational levels with a customer-oriented approach is essential.

• Team player with the ability to be self-sufficient, using a collaborative approach to solve problems is essential.

• Ability to work in a structured environment to deliver agreed objectives and business goals set out by the business is essential.
