Team/Role Overview: We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic self-starter with a keen interest in the Commodities business to join the Risks and Controls Team, located in Belfast. What you’ll do: Support the Global Commodities Front Office Sales & Trading in the remediation of queries, issues, and control gaps, including management of access to Exchanges and trading platforms. Escalate, investigate, and remediate any issues identified through control processes. Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and streamline processes, propose solutions, and lead implementation of improvements. Maintain detailed control documentation, procedures, and audit evidence. Support internal and external audit management and deliverables requests. Participate in Working Groups and maintain close liaison with the wider Commodities Business Management team and Support Partners (Tech, Product Control, Middle Office etc). What we’ll need from you: Demonstrate an ability to problem solve and leverage knowledge of operational processes to diagnose and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in managing projects and/or processes with multiple priorities. Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. Experience with databases and information management. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Self-starter and highly motivated. Ability to conduct research/analysis and organize findings including trends. Knowledge of the financial services industry, technology and trading experience is preferred, but not essential.
