The Capacity Planning Team provides AMZL with cost-optimal and flexible capacity solutions for in-station operations, year-round and enabling the business to scale for seasonal peak demand increases. This role is based out of the London corporate office (LHR16). The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to deliver actionable insights that impact daily business, has a strong delivery record and experienced in driving execution in a cross-functional environment, backed by analysis and data. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, relish working with large amounts of data, and enjoy the challenge of solving highly complex, and sometimes ambiguous problems.

As a Planning Analyst in the Capacity Planning Team, you will be working on the weekly cadence for the generation of labor plans for AMZL delivery stations to make sure the organization is well prepared for the future. You will analyze execution gaps to improve future plans. You will work cross-functionally and build key relationships to ensure that decisions are made and action taken, which enables the AMZL operations to run as effectively as possible. You will challenge the unknown and strive for continuous improvement in key areas of our business.

A successful candidate enjoys problem solving, is comfortable accessing and working with big data from multiple sources, and is enthusiastic about partnering with other teams across the business to deliver results. You should have an internal drive to challenge the status quo, excellent analytical skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, naturally curious, and involved in the details.

In this position, you will take ownership of labor planning as soon as you start, exercising sound judgement to ensure plans are realistic and achievable. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, business analytics, information systems or related field Proficient in MS Excel Experience working with data warehouse Experience in complex problem solving, root cause analysis in a business environment Strong written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Work experience in operations/supply chain/logistics Knowledge of VBA, Python, SQL Exposure to labour planning Experience with supply chain management and transportation concepts
