Spinwell is recruiting for a Business Analyst for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BUSINESS ANALYST

You will play a key part in driving the successful delivery of cybersecurity projects and initiatives by analysing business needs, developing solutions, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, coupled with a keen understanding of cybersecurity concepts, risks, and technologies.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE BUSINESS ANALYST Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a cybersecurity or IT-focused environment. Demonstrated experience working on projects involving cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, BPMN). Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and SOC 2. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CISSP, CISA, or CompTIA Security+. Experience with cloud security, network security, or incident response processes. Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
