Summary

eClerx is looking for a business analyst from the banking industry. The candidate will also have responsibility for some light data analysis. The candidate will have previous experience at an investment bank, exchange or clearing house specifically with a regulatory reporting background. The ability to analyze information, gather requirements, document them, build specifications, target operating models, and other skills from the Agile framework, are required. The role will also have ample opportunity for the person to contribute to the optimization of processes, procedures and applications. Previous experience with process improvement and controls is desired.

Responsibilities: Prepare technical specifications and documentation for technology solutions to support downstream applications Assess and manage project and application risks and issues Work as a part of a team of analysts and SMEs to identify and remediate functional gaps, driving continuous process improvements Documentation of product artifacts including TOMs, control frameworks, business requirements, user stories and test plans Provide data wrangling / analytics operations Draft report specifications after analyzing and understanding complex database schemas Prepare and communicate through effective presentations and written communications Required Skills and Experience:

Technical experience in the financial services industry Hands-on experience with SQL or other data analytics tool Experience of business analysis working on specification writing and critical thinking Demonstrable experience in investment banking with regulatory reporting capability Knowledgeable with Jira and agile methodologies Experience in business analysis and working with diverse teams and competing interests for requirements gathering and analyzing technical trade-offs Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels within technical and business organizations Innovation minded, highly capable of thinking systematically, capable of redefining the solutions to overcome the competitors and solve problems About eClerx
