Are you an experienced Business Analyst who thrives on collaboration and delivering exciting projects? Our Edinburgh based client is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join their team on contract until August 2025. The successful candidate will join a project that is currently in progress and will work alongside a permanent Business Analyst to deliver the project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with in-house developers to ensure the technical approach aligns with business requirements. Develop well-defined Product Backlog Items and user stories, including comprehensive descriptions and testable acceptance criteria. Capture and document business rules as part of acceptance criteria. Create models that help customers understand how the service will function. Facilitate workshops that support project goals. Conduct 'Show and Tell' sessions to keep project stakeholders informed. Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to triage and resolve bugs, delivering high-quality service. Assist users in conducting User Acceptance Testing, relaying feedback to the development and project teams. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status. Key Applicant Requirements Proficient in SCRUM methodology. Strong communication skills, with experience simplifying complex information through workshops, interviews, and reports. Experienced in collaborating with in-house developers to deliver new custom services or enhance existing bespoke solutions. Skilled in stakeholder management and facilitation, effectively translating business needs into project deliverables. Advanced proficiency in Visio, PowerPoint, and similar visual tools to support requirements gathering. Ability to define both functional and non-functional requirements. Experience contributing to backlog item estimation. Skilled in working with developers to assess the impact of requirements on services and ensure thorough documentation. Applicants will need to live within a commutable distance of Edinburgh as regular attendance in the office will be required. This role is Outside IR35 with a maximum day rate of £420.
