Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh / Stirling, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £450-£500/day (Inside IR35). This role will be remote based. Responsibilities: - Detailed requirements and validation criteria for application form migration from word docs to online system - Detailed process maps of end-to-end application process, as-is and to-be - Working with the Developer and QA teams to develop test criteria and scripts - Working with the PM and process owner to produce training materials Essential Skills: - Degree qualification and/or significant experience in a Business Analysis role - Comprehensive experience of business analysis and design procedures and project management and planning skills - Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify the precise nature of customer issues - High degree of accuracy and attention to detail - Extensive experience gathering requirements with project customers and stakeholders - Strong and extensive experience producing thorough and detailed requirements specifications - Excellent knowledge and understanding of data collection approaches, analysis and techniques - Strong and extensive experience of working with functional and technical specifications Desirable Skills: - Experience of Traditional and Agile project methodologies used throughout the project lifecycle. - Previous experience / knowledge of digital funding platform delivery. - Production of training materials and running training workshops to support the business through to system deployment. - Experience of using Visio to document processes, which consider the controls required to manage risks in those processes - Understanding of the project lifecycle and managing your time to meet project objectives and timelines - Excel use to support data analysis If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
