Meraki Talent’s Institutional Fund Management client is actively looking for several Business Analysts experienced in the investment industry, with a solid grounding in data. Our client has a large scale Strategic Data programme, which will be delivering a robust data mastering model to meet business needs. Our client is working with a consultancy, implementing a managed data service to present a single version of records for pricing data, replacing a legacy market data platform, resulting in a less complex, less manual solution with improved governance.
These roles will suit experienced BAs that have worked in the investment industry, that have a good grounding and knowledge of asset classes and securities, and how they are priced. All applicants must be able to commit to working 3 days per week in the Edinburgh office.
Responsibilities of the Business Analyst (Investment Data – Fund Management):
Work with ownership for large pieces of analysis on priority projects
Skilled in analysis planning, taking ownership of analysis plans
Lead data and business analysis design
Proficient in data & business analysis, experience working with Data Architecture and Data Governance
Background of the Business Analyst (Investment Data – Fund Management):
Extensive experience working as a career Business Analyst
Extensive experience working within the investment industry
A robust knowledge of investment data and pricing and how it relates to a variety of asset classes
Knowledge of asset pricing and data vendors very helpful
Knowledge of SDLC
Happy to work in the Edinburgh City Centre office 3 days per week
