It's time to join the UK's biggest independent drainage specialist.

Due to company growth, Lanes Group are looking to appoint a Trainer to join our growing IT department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs on the use of various IT tools and systems. This role involves assessing training needs, developing material, delivering training sessions, and monitoring progress. The IT Trainer will play a critical role in enhancing the technical skills of our employees, ensuring they can use IT resources effectively and contribute to our company's success.

About you: The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of modern IT systems such as Ms365, MS Dynamics, and Works Management Systems. Applicants will have strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in an easily understandable way. Applicants will have a good understanding of business processes as well as excellent organization and time management abilities.

Due to the nature of the role, traveling to various sites is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with all departments to understand their objectives and goals. Identify areas of improvements that can be made and make recommendations for new strategies or processes, from simple process changes to new system implementations. Document requirements for both technical teams to understand, interpreting the end user requirements to ensure the development and technical teams have what they need to progress. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, understandable way. Support users during UAT, identify, develop, and deliver ongoing training material to ensure success at every step. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, operational teams, and 3rd party suppliers. Document 'as is' and 'to be' processes. Support projects from conception to delivery.

Knowledge and skills: Advanced analysis skills and knowledge. Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies. Organizational skills and ability to meet challenging deadlines. Proactively and independently manage projects and maintain skills within the department. 2 years experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. Ability to work to lean and agile standards and methodologies.
