What is the opportunity To make a positive contribution to the Bank's sustainable growth, helping teams to remove waste and find efficiencies improving processes for colleagues and customers. You will have the opportunity to introduce Lean tools and methodologies to Operations teams and introduce them to new ways of looking at challenges. You will have the autonomy to work with Operations teams to find and shape innovative solutions. In this role you will: Work closely with the business and stakeholders to write detailed and clear user stories, and map processes. Use appropriate methodologies to help stakeholders define a problem, to analyse, identify and quantify root causes, and support Operations teams to design and implement solutions. Identify areas for improvement through data-driven analysis and monitor Key Performance Indicators to measure impact and ensure improvements are sustained. Coach and influence employees at all levels in understanding and applying the standards and approach to process analysis to sustaining a beneficial Lean culture within UK Operations and UK Change. What will make you stand out? Qualified in a process excellence method such as Lean Six Sigma with strong knowledge of end-to-end process modelling and analysis. Experience as a process analyst within a financial organisation, including effective user story writing, requirement gathering, and process mapping. Demonstrable knowledge of delivering process improvement. You can evidence strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate, motivate, and create a 'can do' atmosphere. Excellent verbal and written communication methods used to engage internal customers and achieve desired results. Operational excellence experience gained at a multi-national financial or risk institution. Experience of project management using AGILE or PRINCE2 methodology (or equivalent). Knowledge of workflow and process automation. Essential Qualifications There are no minimum educational requirements for this role. More about the team This role is within UK Change, which is part of BOIUK's Change & Transformation function. UK Change is accountable for the management, prioritisation, and implementation of key BOIUK change programmes. The UK Change team is the main interface with the wider Group change function and the first point of contact for new change items. The role holder will work alongside other Project Managers and the UK Change Management team to lead the successful delivery of a broad range of IT and business change outcomes for stakeholders across the business.
